Cooke S7/i FF+ 60, 90, 150 mm Macro 1:1

Cooke Optics announced a new branch of the S7/i family—the 60mm, 90mm and 150mm 1:1 Full Frame Macro lenses. They include /i lens metadata. By the way, 1:1 Magnification in a Full Frame Macro means you can focus down to fill the frame with an object that is about 36×24 mm or 40 x 20mm actual size. read more…

Cooke Front Anamorphic 45-450 T4.5

Cooke reveals details of their 2nd Anamorphic/i Zoom for NAB 2017. It will be a 10:1 front 2x anamorphic 45-450mm T4.5 Zoom Lens. In response to continued enthusiasm from cinematographers and demand by rental houses for Cooke Optics’ vintage Speed Panchro lenses from the 1920s-1960s, Cooke introduces a new series of Panchro Classics based on the original design, with PL mounts and modern mechanics. Delivering Anamorphics

TSF (headquarters in Paris) and Movietech (at Pinewood Studios London) have received their first sets of Cooke Anamorphic/i lenses: 32, 40, 50, 75, 100 mm T2.3. EMIT delivered the first set in France to TSF’s Danys Bruyere. TSF has been busy buying anamorphic lenses lately. Alexa’s New SUP 8.1 gets /i

ARRI Alexa XT/XR Software Update (SUP) 8.1 enables Cooke /i lens metadata support, 90 fps Arriraw 4:3 recording onto XR Capture Drives, and other features outlined in the release notes and user manual (go to Downloads at arri.com ).
