Here is a 20-page PDF preview of the cover story in April-June FDTimes Issue 81-82. It’s a report on the new Fujinon MK 18-55 T2.9 zoom, the imminent 50-135 T2.9, and a tour of the factory where they are made, along with X-T2 and GFX still cameras. Renoir at the Birth of Cinema
Cover story of the next edition of Film and Digital Times for distribution on opening day of NAB, April 24. Pierre-Auguste Renoir completed Woman with a Basket of Flowers in 1895. In the same year, 1895, cinema was “born.” On December 28, 1895, ten short films by Auguste and Louis Lumière were projected on a screen in the Salon Indien at the Hotel Scribe in Paris.
