L-Mount Alliance welcomes Blackmagic Design
Blackmagic Design has joined the L-Mount Alliance. It did not go unnoticed at yesterday’s launch that the new Full Frame L-Mount Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K has an L-Mount.

Leica SL2-S for Stills and Cine
The new Leica SL2-S launches today, December 10. Think of the “S” after the “SL2-” as “Special” or maybe “Sinematographer” with an “S.” That is because the SL2-S will be specially suited for cinematographers and anyone shooting stills and cine.

SIGMA’s PL to L-Mount Converter MC-31 begins shipping on February 27, 2020. Quick review: The L-Mount Alliance consists of SIGMA, Panasonic and Leica. The L-Mount has a 20mm FFD and 51.6 mm ID. Full-Frame L-Mount cameras include Leica SL, Panasonic S1, S1R, S1H and SIGMA fp.
