VENICE 001 Goes to Keslow

Peter Crithary, Dan Perry, Reginald Watson and the Sony LA Team barged into Keslow Camera today and surprised Robert Keslow by presenting him with Sony VENICE camera serial number 001.

Peter emailed from LAX, where his flight back New York is delayed by winter storm Riley:
“We completely surprised Robert by walking into his office this afternoon. I presented serial number 001 to a pleasantly stunned Robert Keslow. It is the very first VENICE off the production line. We had been saving it for him.

“Keslow Camera provided tremendous support in helping us develop VENICE by hosting many feedback sessions with the camera crews who are their customers and our engineers over a period of close to two years.

“The Keslow staff provided valuable insight, support and feedback on the many aspects of how they would like us to design this new camera.

“In addition, our launch film The Dig could not have happened without the support of the Keslow Team. They went above and beyond all expectations to ensure that everything went smoothly.

“We look forward to continue working closely with the Keslow Camera team and their customers in the future to continue to develop VENICE.”

Robert Keslow said, “It was my honor to receive the first Sony Venice Camera. Thanks for the cake!”
