Roger Deakins, ASC, BSC will receive the Pierre Angénieux Lifetime Achievement Award for Cinematography at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, May 22.

Pierre Andurand, President of Angenieux, explained the selection process. A committee makes recommendations based on body of work and artistic achievement, and the selection is made by organizers of the Cannes Festival. Pierre said, “It is wonderful that we are able to recognize the contributions of the cinematographer at Cannes.”
