Oscar-winning cinematographer Dion Beebe, ASC ACS will be this year’s Guest of Honor. Dion’s work includes: Edge of Tomorrow, Collateral, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Little Mermaid and many more.
Band Pro President & CEO Amnon Band said, “We’ve honored some legends over the years, but for certain this year’s guest is overdue. Some of my all-time favorite films were shot by Dion, bar none, and his work continues to be an inspiration. Everybody knows the strikes have been long and hard. Now more than ever we need to come together and celebrate. We’ll be kicking off Band Pro’s 40th Anniversary celebration. I hope you can join us.”
Band Pro’s Open House combines hands-on demos and exhibits of cinema technology, along with food and drink. Exhibitors this year include Sony, Canon, Angenieux, Fujinon, 16X9 Inc., Litepanels, ORCA Bags and many more. Band Pro’s exhibit tent and indoor areas are rain and weatherproof. There is no admission fee to attend, and complimentary valet parking is provided. RSVP is required for admission. See you there.
