NAB. Sunday, April 23. At the conclusion of their opening press conference, Sony dazzled with images from a camera to come, but there were no representations of the camera’s shape nor details describing it. But some of the pieces can be put together from the gorgeous images presented on the Sony Crystal LED 8K screen and some of the captions: 4K camera, 120 fps, oval bokehs suggesting anamorphic capability, very shallow depth of field, wide dynamic range. The a9 Full Frame still camera was launched last week. Too early to connect the dots?
