Cine Lens Specialist at ARRI Burbank

ARRI INC is looking for a Cinema Lens Specialist to work in their Burbank, CA office.

Responsible for growing ARRI’s new line of cinema lenses by working closely with the sales and marketing team.

Research the digital cinema markets to gain insight into market size and its potential for new sales.

Interact with potential and existing clients.

ARRI seeks a strong communicator and motivated person with 5 years of related work experience (film production, lens sales). The right candidate will possess a strong understanding of cinematography. A Bachelor’s degree in Film studies or related field required.

Main areas of responsibilities for this full time role include:
Ø  Support the sales team by conducting lens workshops, test shoots and master classes
Ø  Attend tradeshows and events for the specific markets
Ø  Create market databases with the support of new CRM system
Ø  Conduct interviews with Directors of Photography and take/collect pictures for social media postings and articles
Ø  Report to marketing department new applications, user and customer stories
Ø  Communicate closely with marketing department to push stories, whitepapers and product reviews
Ø  Help marketing department to develop market specific advertisements and promotions
Ø  Research the cinema lens markets for size and sales potential
Ø  Analyze the promotional landscape of the various market segments using search engines such as UberVu
Ø  Identify important publications, blogs, influencers and opinion leaders
Ø  Evaluate the effectiveness of shows attended (ROI)

Ø  Able to travel to project locations, trade shows, set locations, and vendors
Ø  Possess excellent communication skills, work with accuracy and attention to detail
Ø  Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English in a professional manner
Ø  Good working knowledge of competitive cinema lens products
Ø  Exceptional Customer Service Skills (friendly, courteous, helpful)
Ø  Must be computer-literate and possess detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), Power Point, MS Project, Internet, and social networking sites
Ø  Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
Ø  Must be detail oriented, exhibit strong organizations skills and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
