Martin Kreitl is the new Managing Director of Band Pro Munich beginning September 1. Martin has been a familiar face in the industry since 1985. He worked at the Kirch Group in various management positions, including the High Definition Center. In 2000, Martin and some partners produced one of the world’s first films in 1080 / 24p. The short film “Gone Underground” jump-started  most HD productions in Germany. Three years later Martin Kreitl founded his own company, MKMedia Production.

For more than 13 years, Martin worked at Band Pro Munich in various positions, most recently as Head of Sales and Marketing. As of September 1, 2017, Martin Kreitl will be the sole Managing Director of Band Pro Munich GmbH.

“One very important aspect is the strategic reorientation of Band Pro Munich with a clear focus on the distribution of exclusive products from renowned manufacturers, such as Angénieux EZ, IB / E Optics and Orca. But we will not neglect our dedication  in the area of ​​camera, lenses and innovative on-set products and systems, ” Martin said.

Martin has restructured the team. Michaela Frank will be the Band Pro Munich marketing manager. She will also be esponsible for the planned webshop in 2018. Katharina Scharinger will be a junior sales manager and look after brands such as Teradek, Small HD, Connex and VideoDevice. Tanja Decman will be the Business Administration Manager.
