Danny Hallett at Aaton Digital – Transvideo

Danny Hallett joined Transvideo and Aaton Digital as Sales Manager — handling both Aaton and Transvideo products.

Danny was previously at Tiffen International for 10 years. He started as office manager, worked as UK Sales Manager and then European Sales Manager for Tiffen Motion Picture Filters. With Robin Thwaites, he was a Steadicam instructor, and with Garrett Brown, Jerry Holway and Chris Fawcett, helped run and organize international workshops. He sold many Steadicam rigs and accessories, which included  high-end Transvideo monitors for Steadicam.

 

Eric Johnston at ZGC – Cooke

Eric Johnston is now at ZGC in the position of Sales–Americas. That’s mostly Cooke Optics. He will be based at ZGC’s New Jersey offices, and will work in the film and broadcast sectors across North, Central and South America.

Eric joins ZGC after seven years with the Vitec Group, originally as Product Specialist for the OConnor accessories brand and then as Strategic Account Manager for Digital Cinema and Rental Houses across seven Vitec Videocom brands. Before that, he worked at ARRI in sales and product management for five years. He started his career in sales at Eastman Kodak. Eric is an Associate Member of the American Society of Cinematographers.

 

Osamu Tsukada, Po Liu, Kevan Parker, Seth Compton at CW Sonderoptic

CW Sonderoptic has expanded its sales team of Leica cine lens products.

 

Osamu Tsukada is Regional Sales Manager, Asia Pacific, which includes East and South Asia, and Australia. Before joining CW Sonderoptic, Osamu worked in Business Development for Codex Digital in the Asia Pacific region. Before that, he worked in Business Development for ARRI Asia. Osamu has worked as a Camera Assistant and Camera/Steadicam operator on many commercials, short films and music videos throughout Japan. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from J.F. Oberlin University in Tokyo.

 

Po Liu is the Regional Sales Manager for China. He has more than a decade of experience in the equipment rental business. Before joining CW Sonderoptic, he was the Technical Marketing Manager for Salon Films in Hong Kong. Po earned a bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies from Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

 

 

 

Kevan Parker is Regional Sales Manager for Europe, based in the UK and  responsible for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before joining CW Sonderoptic, Kevan was the International Sales Director at Tiffen International in London. Prior to Tiffen, he was the European Sales Manager for Schneider Optics. Kevan has been working in optics and lenses since he first started working in the industry more than 30 years ago.

 

 

 

Seth Compton is Regional Sales Manager, Americas (North and South). He is based in Los Angeles. Beofore CW Sonderoptic, Seth was an Equipment Manager at Brain Farm Cinema where he managed a fleet of RED cameras and accessories through a partnership program, and managed aerial support systems including Shotover and General Dynamics. Before that, Seth worked as a Camera Operator and First Assistant on several films and TV productions.

 

 

 

Freddy Saladin in now at Keslow Camera’s LA office as Senior Lens Technician. 

Freddy will be responsible for the inspecting, maintaining and overhauling lenses. 

Freddy’s began his career in optics in 1989 at Panavision where he learned under the guidance of Dan Sasaki and Dan Lopez. Saladin then joined Clairmont Camera’s lens department where he worked with professional technicians including Greg Reilman, Steve Hamerski and Paul Duclos.
