Anton/Bauer’s CINE VCLX Portable Power System (Ni-MH 14/24/28 V battery) will receive a Sci-Tech Plaque (Scientific and Engineering Award) from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Saturday, February 9, 2013. Anton/Bauer engineers Joe Murtha, William Frederick and Jim Markland will be honored for their design and work.

CINE VCLX batteries are used to power cameras, monitors, accessories, and lights. Like other Anton/Bauer CINE batteries, they have an LCD that accurately displays remaining run time. Furthermore, an LED warning indicates when 15 minutes of run time remain.

A CINE VCLX battery can typically  run an ARRI Alexa for more than 4 hours. It fits comfortably in a Fisher 10 battery tray.
