NAB Wrap

It’s a wrap. NAB 2011 was the best in years: great attendance, interesting new equipment and exciting trends. If the barometer is 500 GB of photos from our four intrepid filmmaker-reporters, worn-out running shoes, water bottles emptied and granola bars consumed, this was the busiest ever. Comments and pictures follow–with credit to Oli Laperal, Jr, Dorian Weber, Mark Forman, Yousef Linjawi, and the many colleagues, companies and crews who generously shared mountains of information with us.

More than 30,000 copies of Film and Digital Times were distributed at the show–in publication bins, from our booth and those of our sponsors, as well as a limitless supply at Sony. That’s Maura Dutra and Bruce Dorn, above, the team behind and in front of iDC Photo Video.

Thanks also to filmmaker Cassie Jaye who diligently staffed our booth. Camera reports follow..and lenses, storage, support, AKS and lots more.
