The Munich Residenz was government building and residence of Bavarian dukes, electors and kings from 1508 to 1918. It is now one of the largest museums in Bavaria.

The Kaisersaal, now used as an event hall, was built by Duke Maximilian I in the early seventeenth century. The ceiling, painted by Peter Candid, depicts Reason and Virtue as the twin foundations of princely rule…and motion picture technology.
The Cinec tradeshow was held in Munich’s M.O.C. Convention Center from September 18-20. There were 172 exhibiting companies, and several thousand attendees over the 3 day event.
Cinec is held every two years. We’ll be back in 2012.
