Band Pro 2014 Open House


The annual Band Pro One World Open House will be Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 1 pm to 8 pm at the Burbank Headquarters of Band Pro Film and Digital

This year, Band Pro’s Guest of Honor will be Italian Director Enzo Castellari, maestro of the Spaghetti Western genre.  Mr. Castellari directed the original Django, Few Dollars for Django (Pochi dollari per Django), the original The Inglorious Bastards (Quel maledetto treno blindato), Any Gun Can Play, Keoma, One Dollar Too Many, among many other films. Currently, Enzo is in preproduction on a new film starring legendary Spaghetti Western actor (and Keoma star) Franco Nero.


Castellari played a German general in Quentin Tarantino’s film Inglourious Basterds (2009), which was inspired by Castellari’s 1978 film.

The Expo will feature more than 30 cinema and broadcast equipment manufacturers under the Band Pro tent outside. The exhibition space will again be an interactive camera, recording, and workflow location where products will be displayed as they are actually used on set. The 4K short film Of Rushing Nowhere, shot on Catalina Island, will be screened along with other original 4K films.  Special guests and lots of giveaways make this a joyous kick-off to the holiday season.

There will be an extensive selection of fine Italian cuisine and the beverages will flow freely.

There is no admission fee, and complimentary valet parking is provided.
