Next Gen Domke Bags

Patty Nast Canton has been revitalizing the Domke brand and product at Tiffen since February of this year. The stylish and useful results were unveiled at PhotoPlus Expo in NY yesterday. Patty’s roots are in the men’s fashion industry. She outfitted Charlie Sheen and Tony Soprano.

The new Domke bags come in a choice of fabrics: classic canvas, cordura, ballistic nylon, with a plethora of pockets, dividers, wraps, compartments and helpful places to carry your camera gear. No more mangled fingernails adjusting compartments — the soft Velcro and smooth fabric is gentle to the touch and clever in design.

“Domke means shooting on the run, function, authentic, made in America,” Patty said.

For over 30 years, Domke bags have been almost a badge of office for photographers. They have been the official bag of the White House News Photographer Association, and Domke Vests were standard-issue at the London Olympics.

“Next Generation Domke embodies outstanding photography bag design know-how with absolute, personalized customization, filling the needs of any and all photographers,” said Steve Tiffen, president and CEO, The Tiffen Company. “It is designed for the way you shoot, with a stylish, updated look that brings the legendary performance and feel of Domke to today’s photographer.”

Next Generation Domke bags include the Journalist, Adventurer, Metropolitan, Visionary, and updated classic F2. They all use new Domke GearProtex dividers and PocketFlex pockets, pouches, and customizing accessories. www.domkephoto.com
