Don’t Miss Day 2 at ICG+52 Seminar

[nggallery id=6]

Who knew? More than 400 members of International Cinematographers Guild local 600, local 52, and local filmmakers knew that a beautiful weekend at the beach would be nothing compared to one of the best industry seminars and exhibits of the year. With high-power (the speakers, not the amperage) lighting workshops, equipment exhibits, post production panels, and discussions–the Secaucus Symposium, organized by Dejan Georgevitch, ASC, Sol Negrin, ASC, Steven Poster, ASC, and many others, brought out a who’s who of prominent notables and notable companies.

After the 6pm symposium wrap, ARRI/CSC (conveniently across the street) hosted a celebration of Hardwrick Johnson’s 50th anniversary with the company. It was an open-house and Oktoberfest in June: barbecue beer, pretzels, wursts, chicken, cucumber salad.

Don’t miss Sunday’s ICG+52 Equipment (Cameras, Lights, Accessories–more than 40 vendors) Symposium Day 2:

  • 9:30am-11am:   ACES (Color Management) presentation by Curtis Clark, ASC
  • 11:30am-1pm: LED lighting by Frank Marsico (Shadowstone)
  • 2-3:30pm: Lighting Demo by Rodrigo Prieto, ASC
  • 4-5:30pm: Panel discussion on transition into the digital world

Location: 2 Emerson Lane in Secaucus NJ. Free for local 600 and 52 members. Fee for non-members. More info online.
