Canon PL

Matthias Uhlig of MBF Filmtechnik Hamburg is leading the Ron Dexter PL Mount for Canon EOS competition. Their Canon-PL Adapter is shown here with a 300 mm Canon Century. Cooke 5/i Dimmer

Update: the Cooke 5/i lenses have an external dimmer, made by Transvideo. As an alternative to using the iris ring to control the focus scale illumination settings, you can plug one end of this small box into the camera’s RS receptacle, and the other end attaches to the /i connector on the lens. PL Mount for Canon EOS

The race is on to put a PL mount on Canon 5D, 7D or any Canon EOS SLR. Problem is, PL lenses have a 52mm flange focal depth. Canon lenses have a 44mm depth. Mill Colour: Grading on iPhone

Thanks to Mako Koiwai for spotting Mill Colour, a terrific, free iPhone app from those wonderful visual effects people at The Mill. 2 2-Perf Aaton Penelopes on First US Feature
